8t Battery Electric Locomotive-XK8-6/140-2KBT
8t battery electric locomotive have two types: safety model, explosion-proof model.
8t 110V and 8t 132V electric locomotive adopt one stage gear transmission, It‘s the first generation with advantages of lower bar centre, stable.
8t 140V electric locomotive adopts advanced chopper speed regulating and battery series-parallel connection step speed regulating, wimble-gear and regular-gear two stage gear transmission. With advantages of high volume of battery, heavy traction, thickness armor plate body, high resistance to strike etc.
It based on 8t 140V step-less speed regulating, 10th step speed regulating.

KBT-Explosion-proof special type for mine
A-Symbolizing safety type
N-Normal type
C-For with wing plates being used to match with bottom or profile unloading type wagon.
Others alpha bits symbolize, adhesive weight, rail gauge, voltage and design serial number.
The Operating Environment:
For special explosion proof battery powered type electric locomotive.
1. The surrounding air temperature: -20±40℃
2. In most moist month, the average max, relative humidity is 95% (in the same month the lowest temperature is not higher than 25℃)
3. The site for coal mine special explosion-proof battery powered electric locomotive must be in according with the stipulations of 《coal mineral safety rule》
XK8-6/140-2KBT Explosion-proof Battery Electric Locomotive
It’s adapt to the ambient condition where gas and coal exist, such as wind draw-out tunnel, wind draw-out tunnel, and not high enough to use trolley wire electric locomotive ,to haul mineral, equipments or other locomotive.
 
Cabs were designed at both sides of locomotive. By handling master hand-wheel and reverse hand-wheel to perform drive ahead and backward, speed regulating, retarding, and speed-down and braking etc. Only single control available when it running.
   
    Compared with XK8-6/110-KBT explosion-proof battery electric locomotive, it adopts super power transistor (GTR) chopper speed regulating, to transfer DC 140V to DC alternative power. Traction motor can perform alternative circle speed depend on alternative DC power, to regulate speed.

4. Adopt V rubber spring to bear shock and punch from 3 directions longitude, latitude and uprightness.
5. With advantages of super hauling, speedy, large loading capacity etc.
6. DC chopper controlled by wide-defined frequency modulation, among 3.0~4.2ms, R*19 resistor rate are changeable when debugging.
7. System working frequency changeable from 25~250+/-50Hz, R*10, R*12 resistor rate are changeable if necessary.
 
It is composed by machinery part and electrical part::
1. Machinery part include frame, running gear, ceiling, chair, buffer, sands sprinkle, hand-wheel braking, aerial braking, rubber shock absorber etc.
2. Electrical part include a major circuit composed by battery, cab and traction motor, a light circuit composed by battery, light and depress resistor. Combined with manipulating system and the driver’s control system, and equipped with major loop chopper and spare parts of touch off loop, to be a complete set.
3. Frame is one of the master pieces sealed to be a chest by high grade carbon armor plate with side thickness of 30mm and both ends thickness of 30mm.
4. Well combined high strength frame structure to ensure durability to bear all kinds of shock and punch force from starting, braking, and pulling.
5. Also as a part of cab, frame is of the base structure for installation of transmission system, braking system and all the other electrical equipments.
6. Its armor plate has been pretreated.
7. We use numerical controlled gas cutting to incise the thick armor plate.
